Reconciling Stoles – Signifies Commitment to the Full Inclusion of ALL people

RECONCILING STOLES

The rainbow colors of the reconciling stole represent the wondrous diversity of God’s creation.

This stole is intended as a witness of the wearer’s willingness to embrace the diversity of God’s good creation in his/her own life and in the life of the United Methodist Church.

People wear stoles in worship and at church events to show their solidarity with those who believe all persons should be full participants in the life of the church, in policy and in practice, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. (RMNetwork.org)

A pattern to make Reconciling Stoles can found on the RMNetwork website: Stole pattern
