As a spiritual community, we seek to follow the teachings of Jesus, who calls us to love one another, to reach out to those who are in need, and to grow deeper in our journey with God. At Westchester UMC, seekers, pilgrims, saints and sinners explore faith and doubt, justice and Jesus, peace and praise, as we journey together in the familiar and mysterious.

Sunday Mornings

8:00 a.m. - Zoom Breakfast Church
Breakfast Church is informal, and there is room for everyone at our virtual table. We will explore scripture through questions and conversation. You are invited to grab your favorite breakfast goodies, a cup of coffee, grab your laptop, computer or smartphone and log in through a Zoom invitation at 8:00 a.m.  Email Pastor Lyda for the Zoom invitation.

10:00 a.m. - In Person Worship
Over the next four weeks, we will explore the "c" word ... CHANGE!  Our brains were designed to be suspicious of change, and for good reason - homeostasis in good measure helps us thrive, protecting us from danger.  But if we look closely at what the Creator set in motion, we find that change is actually the most constant part of life and necessary for animating our spirits as we find renewed purpose throughout life.  This week our theme is "We Were Made for This!"  We will also have some fun with Play-Doh during worship!

Sunday Morning Worship on YouTube
Enjoy worship on your schedule!  Each Sunday afternoon, our worship service is added to our YouTube channel.

 The Gathering-October 5,2022
On the First Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., it's The Gathering.  Through sacred moments of silence, scripture and music, we have the opportunity to re-set, re-charge and re-focus our awareness of the Divine Presence of God, always where we are at every moment. Quiet your mind, open your spirit and focus your heart on the 1st Wednesday of each month in the calming presence of God and Spirit.
Masks are required.
