As a spiritual community, we seek to follow the teachings of Jesus, who calls us to love one another, to reach out to those who are in need, and to grow deeper in our journey with God. At Westchester UMC, seekers, pilgrims, saints and sinners explore faith and doubt, justice and Jesus, peace and praise, as we journey together in the familiar and mysterious.

Sunday Mornings

8:00 a.m. - Zoom Breakfast Church
Breakfast Church is informal, and there is room for everyone at our virtual table. We will explore scripture through questions and conversation. You are invited to grab your favorite breakfast goodies, a cup of coffee, grab your laptop, computer or smartphone and log in through a Zoom invitation at 8:00 a.m.  Email Pastor Lyda for the Zoom invitation.

10:00 a.m. - In Person Worship
We move from our journey of tending our good enough gardens into a celebration of the new life that we are invited into every day. Life is often not as we expect it to be or as others expect it to be. During this Eastertide (the 50 days after Easter) we will continue our practice of looking at what is. We will be exploring Joyce Rupp’s book, The Cup of Our Life, and will use the cup as a symbol of our inner journeys in our new worship series, The Cup of Freedom.

 The Gathering- June 12022 at 6:30 p.m.
On the First Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., it's The Gathering.  Through sacred moments of silence, scripture and music, we have the opportunity to re-set, re-charge and re-focus our awareness of the Divine Presence of God, always where we are at every moment. Quiet your mind, open your spirit and focus your heart on the 1st Wednesday of each month in the calming presence of God and Spirit.
Masks are required.
